Landing page/start of session

I can see many of our sessions seem to start capturing mid-way of a user's session (the page is scrolled to the middle; user is in the middle of performing a task; etc). Is there anyway to identify/separate sessions that are beginning of a session for the user? i.e. it started at the beginning of a landing page?

    Thanks for posting in our community looking for help with sessions starting later than expected.

    There's a few reasons this could happen, for example if a user has already been identified and you try to identify them under a different uid or perhaps our script has been added to your site further down the page and the data capture snippet is slower to load.

    Would you be able to create a support ticket with some examples for us to take a look at your site? You can use the 'Note and Share' button at the bottom of any session, to generate a session link:


    Once we have a couple of examples to review, we'll be able to take a look and advise what could be happening here.
