Top Level Metric Trends
These four Metrics will display top level metrics for users over the past 7 days and quickly give a snapshot into the health of users' experience along with how the metrics are trending compared to the previous week.
Ingredients
- Segment: Everyone
- Segment: Signed-up
- Segment: New this week
- Metric: Clicks per session
- Metric: Sessions per user
- Metric: Average time from session start to click Add to cart
Instructions
- All three required segments are already saved by default in your Fullstory account. If you are not identifying your users, the “Signed-up” segment will be empty.

Create and save a new Metric called “# of Clicks per Session” using the count of events where a user clicked anything divided by the count of unique sessions with any activity. Change the time period to Past 7 days and select a color treatment, either static or dynamic.

Create and save a new Metric called “Sessions per Signed-up User” using the count of unique sessions with any activity divided by the count of unique users with any activity. Select the Signed-up Segment for this Metric. Change the time period to Past 7 days and select a color treatment, either static or dynamic.
- Open the “Sessions per Signed-up User” Metric and rename it to “Sessions per User for new Users”. Adjust the Segment to be New this week for this Metric.

Create and save a new Metric called “# of New Users this Week” using the count of unique users with any activity. Select the New this week Segment for this Metric. Change the time period to Past 7 days and select a color treatment, either static or dynamic.
