Yes! For any search or segment, we'll provide a Segment Health Card.
The Segment Health Card will appear under your search results and will correspond to your current search query. In the left hand column, you'll see the average for the entire segment + time range. Additionally, you'll see the daily (or weekly / monthly, depending on how long your search time range is) averages plotted over time. Hover over the time plots to see a comparison of the same stat in the previous period (the dotted line).
In the example below, there are on average 11 total events in the sessions that match the search criteria. The average length of all matching sessions is 1 hour, 37 minutes and 07 seconds. The average active time of all matching sessions is 21 seconds. When hovering the events time plot, we can see that on February 6 the average session length was 2 minutes and 13 seconds, but back on November 14, the average session length was 6 hours, 38 minutes, and 58 seconds.
How is Session Length and Active Time calculated?
Session Length will calculate the total time of a user's session from beginning to end, including any points within that session in which a user was inactive on your website or mobile application.
Active Time will calculate the total time of a user's session from beginning to end in which the user was actively engaging with your website or mobile application. This particular metric would exclude any points within the session in which a user was inactive on your website or mobile application.
You can learn more about how we determine whether a user is active or inactive on your website or mobile application in our What makes a user active vs inactive? help article.
