Average Click per order

New

We have a website from where customer care team can edit the order requirement if needed. I want to capture the average click on “Submit” Button (which means care team has made the changes and now submitting) per order item. This will give the idea, how many times particular button is getting clicked per order.

Is this possible to achieve here?

  • Hi @ADITYA ! Thanks for your post.

Our metrics feature will likely be the best option for you here. With this feature, you can measure various user actions on your site in Fullstory using a variety of parameters. You can read more about how to utilize metrics here: https://help.fullstory.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052381313-Introduction-to-Metrics

In this case, you’ll likely want to search for clicks on that particular ‘Submit’ button (you can utilize Inspect Mode via Page Insights to determine the CSS associated with that button) in a metric. You’ll also want to be sure you’re filtering by unique Events in the metric. You can then divide that by the number of visits to the order item URL or URLs that match the order item page. Again, you’ll want to be filtering by unique events.

The metric results will provide you with the average number of clicks occurring on that URL or subset of URLs.

Here’s an example of what that might look like:

You can then visualize your results on a trend line, as a single number, or based on a particular dimension.

If you have any follow-up questions about this, please do let us know. We’re happy to help!
