What did you use to build fullstory community?

I’m a product person whose company is considering launching a community product like this -- I’m curious if fullstory community was built from the ground up or if you’re integrating with a third party product.

    Hey @annie! That’s exciting. We’re using a third-party tool called inSided, and we evaluated several others as well. I’ll share a few resources that we used to get started with this decision.

    • To Build or to Buy: The Online Community Question - Important to note that this was published by Higher Logic, a community vendor, so it’s heavily skewed toward “buy.” I found their points compelling nonetheless!
    • The CMX Guide to Community Platforms - A nice breakdown of types of community software and considerations for how they best support different types of communities (i.e. communities for user success and support, advocacy and engagement, professional associations, etc.)
    • Online Community Software Comparisons - A quick side-by-side comparison of common platforms. While this certainly shouldn’t replace a thorough evaluation, it can be useful in narrowing down the contenders before hopping on the phone with their sales teams.
