Removed custom fields of user are still showing in new user sessions.

Initially I added multiple custom fields of user using ‘setIdentity’. Now I have removed some fields and added new fields, however in new sessions I am seeing older and new fields. I do not need old fields now, how to remove those fields?

User properties are associated with the user in Fullstory, so they exist on the user's profile even when you're not actively sending them in.
Alas, the only way to remove those fields would be to delete the user record entirely. That said, you can hide any properties that you no longer need by archiving in your Settings > Data Management > Properties page in Fullstory. Would this work for your use case?
If you do indeed need to proceed with a deletion—for instance, if you captured sensitive data into those properties—please let us know here or at support@fullstory.com. We'd be happy to help you process a deletion of those users and their properties.
