- Available with Enterprise and Advanced plans.
- Admins, architects, and standard users can create metric alerts. Explorers can subscribe to existing metric alerts, but cannot create their own.

Scenario #1 - Conversion Rate
You’d like to know if the conversion rate for your product drops.
Value of metric alert
This metric alert notifies you if the conversion rate drops by 2% compared to the previous day.
Create the metric alert
- Create and save a trend metric called Purchase Conversion Rate.
- Use the metric count of unique users who clicked “Purchase” when the visited URL is “Your Checkout Page” divided by count of unique users who visited the URL “Your Checkout Page”.
- Set your time interval to Daily.
- Click Create Alert and name it Drop in Purchase Conversion Rate.
- Alert when the metric’s relative change decreases by 2% compared to the previous day.
- Subscribe to in-app and email notifications.

Scenario #2 - Rage Clicks on Purchase Button
You’re testing a new purchase button and want to monitor user frustration.
Value of metric alert
This metric alert notifies you when there are more than 12 rage clicks on your button in one hour.
Create the metric alert
- Create and save a trend metric called Rage Clicks on Purchase Button.
- Use the count of Events when the Rage clicked text is Purchase.
- Set your time interval to Hourly.
- Click Create Alert and name it More than 12 rage clicks on purchase in an hour.
- Alert when the metric's value is greater than 12.
- Subscribe to in-app and email notifications.

Scenario #3 - First Input Delay on Page
You wish to maintain a low First Input Delay to ensure load responsiveness and a good user experience.
Value of metric alert
This metric alert notifies you when more than 10 users experience a First Input Delay in one day.
Create the metric alert
- Create and save a trend metric called First Input Delay on Page.
- Use the count of unique users with an event of First Input Delay is at least 300 milliseconds.
- Set your time interval to Daily.
- Click Create Alert and name it First Input Delay is more than 10 users.
- Alert when the metric's value is greater than 10.
- Subscribe to in-app and email notifications.

Scenario #4 - Average Page Load Speed
To anticipate an influx of support cases, you’d like to know if average page load time increases.
Value of metric alert
This metric alert notifies you when the metric’s value is greater than 3000 milliseconds, calculated daily.
Create the metric alert
- Create and save a trend metric called Average Page Load Speed.
- Use the average of Events when the Page load is at least 0 milliseconds.
- Set the Property to Page load time.
- Set your time interval to Daily.
- Click Create Alert and name it Page load time exceeds 3000 milliseconds.
- Alert when the metric’s value is greater than 3000 milliseconds.
- Subscribe to in-app and email notifications.
