How to Measure Feature Activation vs Adoption

Hi there,
I want to measure feature activation & adoption.
Activation being the first time a user from a unique customer (company) use a feature e.g. upload a documents.
Adoption being when any user from a unique customer (company) use a feature (multiple) x number of times. e.g upload 10 documents.
What would be the best way to measure activation & adoption through full story?

At this time, we don’t offer a ‘first time’ filter to search for the first time a user completes a particular event. That said, we’ve definitely heard this request before so I’ve shared your feedback with our Product team. In the meantime, you can search for a particular action in a segment, click on the user’s name in the session playlist, and then scroll down to the first session in the ‘Matching Activity’ tab on their user card to find the first session within your data retention period where they completed that particular event.
Regarding feature adoption, you can search for a particular user event and add an ‘Occurrence’ dependent criteria filter to find users who completed that action more than X amount of times. Dependent criteria filters can be added using the button directly to the right of the ‘any’ dropdown below:
