Events stop sending after initial page load
We’re seeing some weird behavior where FullStory seems to initialize correctly, getting a response from https://rs.fullstory.com/rec/page, and then pinging https://rs.fullstory.com/rec/bundle/v2 a couple of times. However, after that all network activity to FullStory seems to stop. I even tried to trigger events manually with FS(‘trackEvent’), but it seems like network requests are not being triggered after the first few seconds.
The issue persists whether we install FullStory via GTM, code snippet, or browser SDK (the site is a React app), and the captures we receive are all shorter than 5 seconds. This makes me think that it’s either a configuration issue with our account (we have Privacy by Default enabled, so maybe it’s related to that?) or a bug with the script (seems unlikely since there would be other reports).
Is there a way for us to determine why this is happening? I haven’t been able to find any resources that describe this type of issue. Most issues around events not sending seem to involve the page settings returning a blocked status of some type, which we are not seeing.

Hi @Mentaya,
Thanks for reaching out! Troubleshooting this type of issue would be best handled by our support team.
Are you able to provide some more details of the flow of your site, for example does a user visit a login page and then go to a home screen to book an appointment / look at a dashboard etc? Would you be able to provide test login details to your site to us via support@fullstory.com?
We will keep an eye out for a support ticket so we can take a closer look to see how we can help!
Gemma 🙂
