Fullstory integration with GA4 and it's use cases

Hi All, I am very new to this fullstory and we’ve requirement to integrate fullstory with our GA4 so that can get session recording urls in GA4, which will help us then filter out the traffic based on traffic medium to review the sessions and then make decisions for our website.
I’ve already integrated GA4 within fullstory for weeks now, however I don’t see any data flowing in GA4. Could anyone please help? Am I missing something?

The out-of-the-box GA4 integration doesn't currently support passing URLs to GA4, which is why you aren’t seeing any data flowing there.
While we would normally suggest utilizing our FS.getCurrentSessionURL() API, at this time, it's not possible to send a shortened link to GA4 via our FS.getCurrentSessionURL() API call and Google Analytics doesn't offer a way to expand the character limit for custom dimensions.
That said, I would suggest using our FS.getCurrentSession() API instead, which will pass over the User ID and Session ID in this format:
userId:sessionId. You can then plug those values into our standard session URL format to manually create a session link. That URL is:https://app.fullstory.com/ui/orgId/session/userId:sessionIdPlease let me know if you have any questions about this as I would be more than happy to help! 😊
@lindsay, thank you so much, it’s really helpful information. I wanted to know what fullstory sends out of the box, and now it’s very much clear. I would surely consider this custom integration.
