Using FS to track actions in an iframe - possible or no?
Hi all, hoping for some help.
My company has a marketing site with an iframe mixmax calendar so customers can book demos, meetings, etc. FS is running on the marketing site great. The iframe and it’s contents appear invisible to FS, in session replays I can’t see any of the content, and button clicks (like a customer booking a meeting) inside the iframe aren’t tracked in FS.
I’ve read the documentation on ‘capturing content in an iframe’ and tried adding the iframe capture code in the snippet, but didn’t work (nothing captured) . If I’m missing something and there’s a solution, please let me know! If not, then happy to tell the marketing people to redesign the page :-)
The giant red box in the session replay screenshot below is where the mixmax iframe calendar lives, as you can see it’s blank, but if you visit the site, there’s a calendar booking iframe here.

Thanks everyone!

Hi @RBDan ,
Thanks for reaching out to the community! As this is a question specific to your site rather than a more general query, I’m going to raise a support ticket so we can get some more details about how you have added the code to the iframe so we can advise further. We will be in touch soon :-)

Hi Gemma, thanks for the email--you were correct, I don’t have access to the domain/code for the embedded site, so likely falls under the use case of not being supported. Thanks for the insight!
