What does "partial period" means on the Trends annotation

When I hover over the trend line I can see a pop up window that tells me the data is from a partial period but I'm not sure what that means.

Thanks for reaching out. This is just to flag up that you’re looking at an incomplete time range.
For example if you are tracking at a week level, you may see this if you're looking in the middle of the week. We can see the date range from your screenshot shows Jul 29 - Aug 4 but if you were looking at this on Aug 1, we don't have the complete data for the week just yet.
Hopefully this makes sense why we show this notification, there's nothing you need to do / change, it's just for information :-)
