Total time a user spent on my platform

  Hey Shuky Aharonovitch ! Thanks for your question.

  To understand the number of hours users are spending on your platform, there are a few options that might be helpful to you:

  • The first is to use our standard CSV export created from a segment. In this export, there's a column titled “TotalSec”, which stands for total seconds. This will give you a value for the total time the user has spent on your site since we began capturing their sessions in Fullstory. Keep in mind, this value is an all time total metric and is not bound by the time range used in the segment you create the export from.
     

  • If you're more interested in a monthly breakdown, you can create a metric that is searching for the sum of total time spent on any page and adjust the time range of the metric to match the period you're interested in. You can also sort the metric by ‘Name’ since you're passing this data into Fullstory. 
    
    While the metric will show you the top 50 results, the export option will provide up to 500 results.

    

  Hopefully one of these options will be helpful to you as you're trying to understand how much time users spend on your platform.
