The short answer is that technically you could do this. However, we highly discourage it for a few reasons. Mainly, we are constantly rolling out updates to the script and if you make a local copy you won't get the benefits of those updates. These will include bug fixes, performance enhancements, and new features. Also, it is possible that your playback will be broken each time we roll out new script versions and we don't want to be causing more issues for you!
