Collect feedback from new users
This survey will help you gauge customer satisfaction of users within their second month. Results will help you determine if there are areas of improvement in your onboarding efforts to new users.
Instructions

In Guides and Surveys, navigate to Users, select Segments, and click + Add Segment.
- Segment name: "New Users Between 30 and 60 Days Since Signup"
- Add a Condition for Days Since Signup is more than 30.
- Add a Condition for Days Since Signup is less than or equal to 60.
- Create a survey and save it as "New User Satisfaction Survey."

In Settings, under Where to show this survey, configure:
- Page: The URL and page(s) you want the survey to display on.
- User segment: Select the segment you created in step 1.

In Settings, under Triggers, configure:
- How to start the survey: Choose Automatically.
- Show to user: Choose Only once.

In Settings, under Properties, configure:
- Position: Choose Over page.
- Toggle on Show thank you message.
- In Settings, under Theme, choose the theme you want to use for this survey.

In Settings, set priority to ensure users see the survey over other content they might qualify for:
- Choose a higher number than other content.
- Toggle on Ignore Content Throttling.

In the survey builder, next to the first survey page, click the wrench icon to edit the page.
- Under Default display type, choose either Slideout or Modal.

Click + Add element and select Range Numeric to add a quantitative question, then configure:
- Question: "On a scale from 1 to 5, how easy was it to get started with our website?"
- Style: Button Group
- Number of options: 5
- Starting number: 1
- Minimal value label: Very difficult
- Maximal value label: Very easy
- Toggle on Required so users are required to make a choice before submitting.
- From the left sidebar, click Add Element, select Open question, then add an open-ended question where users can provide feedback in free form.
- Click Thank you message and customize your message.
- Preview and publish your survey when ready.
