Workforce maintains an audit log to track changes to configured apps.
Open the audit log
To open the audit log, follow the steps below or navigate directly to the audit log.
- Open Workforce.
- Open the Workforce menu in the top left.
- Click Audit Log.
Audit log overview
Every app change is logged in Workforce with an action of create, modify, or delete. The first column will be the date and time in ISO 8601 format. When an app is modified, one of the following types will be recorded:
- Text: Changes to non-functional, descriptive text such as name or vendor name.
- Metadata: Changes to the metadata of the object such as champion, category, or other tags.
- Data: Changes affecting data such as license count.
- Data Capture: Changes affecting data capture such as domains, capture toggle, or privacy toggle.
App filter
You can filter for a specific app using the Apps filter button at the top right of the audit log.
Log details and diff
Click an audit log entry to view the log details and see a full diff of what changed.
