Workforce Feedback Widget

When the Workforce feedback widget is enabled for a configured application, employees have a direct line of support to their internal IT team from within the software they use for work.

Enabling the feedback widget

The feedback widget is configured on a per-app basis. The following can be configured globally:

  • Default Feedback Email: When employees submit feedback from within an app, this is the default email address where the feedback will be sent. The feedback email can also be configured in each individual app.

Below the the Feedback Settings, you'll see a list of Configured Apps that have the feedback widget enabled.

Configuring the feedback widget for an app

To configure the feedback widget for an individual app:

  1. Go to the Apps tab in Workforce.
  2. Click into the app you wish to configure.
  3. Click the Edit button near the app's name in the top left.
  4. Scroll to the Feedback Widget settings at the bottom of the App page.
  5. Make changes and then click Save.

The following options can be configured:

  • Widget State: Determines if the feedback widget is enabled for the app.
  • Screen Position: Determines the screen position for the feedback widget.
  • Feedback Email: When employees submit feedback from within an app, this is the email address where the feedback will be sent.

Employee experience of the feedback widget

The Workforce feedback widget requires version 2025.04.25 or later of the Workforce extension in order to appear in the employee's browser.

When the feedback widget is enabled for an app, the Fullstory logo will appear as an overlay within the app:

Employees who click the overlay widget will be given a prompt to add details and then a Send button to submit their feedback.

IT support experience of receiving feedback

When an employee submit feedback via the widget, an email will be sent to the email configured in Workforce for that app:

Members of the IT team who receive this email can then click the link to view the session directly in Workforce.
