Fullstory Guides and Surveys connects behavioral insights with in-app action. This add-on capability enables you to create targeted content and collect user feedback, reaching the right users at the right time based on their actual behavior in your application.
What you can do with Guides and Surveys
Guides and Surveys consists of a set of tools for delivering in-app content and gathering user feedback. You can create and deploy different content types to engage users at key moments in their journey:
- Tours: Multi-step guided experiences that walk users through features or workflows.
- Smart tips: Contextual messages that appear at specific moments to provide helpful information or guidance.
- Checklists: Task lists that help users complete important actions or onboarding steps.
- Banners: Prominent messages that display announcements or important information across your application.
- Surveys: In-app forms that collect user feedback and opinions at targeted moments.
- A/B experiments: Test different versions of content to determine which performs better with your users.
Note: Detailed documentation for each content type will be available as Guides and Surveys moves toward General Availability.
How it works
Guides and Surveys extends Fullstory's behavioral analytics by allowing you to act on what you observe. You can target content to specific users based on Fullstory user properties and segments, ensuring that your messaging reaches users who will benefit most from it.
All interactions with your content are captured as Fullstory events, allowing you to measure effectiveness and understand how users respond to your interventions.
Understanding Early Access
Guides and Surveys is currently in Early Access, which means:
- The feature set and functionality may change as we refine the product based on customer feedback.
- Documentation will be updated regularly as new capabilities become available.
- Early Access customers work closely with Fullstory teams to help shape the product's development.

Monthly Targeted Users
