Fullstory has partnered with Baymard Institute, a leading independent web usability research organization, to integrate their UX research and insights directly into Opportunities, providing you with a powerful way to identify and prioritize critical UX improvements.
Quick start
Customers with StoryAI Premium can quickly get started with UX Insights by doing the following:
- Within Fullstory, select Opportunities from the left-hand menu.
- Click UX Insights at the top of the Opportunities page.
- Click Request Scan to send Baymard Institute notice to process the request and begin preparing the insights.
- When the insights are ready they will appear on the UX Insights tab.

How are UX Insights detected?
Baymard Institute scans your live website to provide heuristic evaluation of the site's UX. The evaluation is performed across 154 UX heuristics (Baymard Institute guidelines) — all based on Baymard’s 200,000+ hours of large-scale UX research findings.
Is my website a good candidate for UX Insights?
At this time, Baymard Institute supports scans for ecommerce and retail websites.
