To get started with Ask StoryAI for in Segments, look for the StoryAI section immediately below Segment Filters and click Analyze segment. Ask StoryAI will take a few seconds to analyze your segment data and will respond with a high level overview and actionable insights. Ask follow-up questions to dive deeper.
Overview
The Overview section provides a high-level understanding of your segment. It includes a Discover this audience section that describes who these users are, key behavioral patterns (like high frustration levels or specific device usage), and important statistics. Use this to quickly grasp the segment's characteristics before diving deeper.
Insights
The Insights section identifies specific, actionable opportunities to improve the segment's experience. Each insight highlights a particular pattern or issue Ask StoryAI discovered in the data. Click any insight for a detailed explanation, supporting data, and links to specific sections.
Opportunities
If available, AskStory will reference any Opportunities (like funnel drops or spiking issues) that it can highlight for key insights.
Asking follow-up questions
Every segment analysis includes a chat window where you can ask follow-up questions about your data. Use this to explore specific aspects Ask StoryAI might not have covered in the initial analysis, or to get clarity on patterns you've noticed.
