Who can use this feature?
- Part of Anywhere: Activation and available in StoryAI Home, which requires StoryAI Premium.
- Activation Agents consume Activations. 1000 Activations per month available with Enterprise and Advanced plans.
- Additional Activations available with Anywhere: Activation.
- All users (except Guests) can use Activation Agents within StoryAI Home.
Building on Fullstory Anywhere: Activation, Activation Agents are 24/7 agents that automatically analyze and summarize individual sessions. By setting up tailored summary prompts, you can delegate distinct roles to these agents—such as examining a session through the lens of a customer support representative—to uncover critical insights and inform next steps.
This documentation will be fully updated once Activation Agents is generally available. The information below covers what's available during Early Access.
You can find Activation Agents in the new StoryAI Home, in the section at the bottom labeled "24/7 Agents, working for you."
Every Activation Agent consists of three key steps:
- A trigger that describes when the agent should analyze the session.
- A session summary prompt that describes how the agent should analyze the session.
- A destination that defines where to send the session summary.
Once configured, the agent runs automatically, generating summaries as sessions match the trigger.
To get started quickly, Activation Agents includes pre-built templates with pre-configured triggers and summary prompts, such as Cart Abandonment, Credential Stuffing, and Customer Service. Additional templates are available, with more being added during the Early Access period.
Users can also build custom agents from scratch by sequentially defining the trigger, summary prompt, and destination. Whether starting from a template or creating your own, all three steps are fully customizable—triggers behave the same way as Activation Stream Definitions, and Activation Agents share the same Activation quota as Streams.
