Follow the steps below to easily share session replay notes or links with your team:
- Click Note and Share when watching a session.
- Type your observations from the session in the text box.
- Type the @ sign to notify a specific colleague or user from your account in the note.
Share Session Links
Click the Copy button to get a shareable link to send to interested parties. This link will take a user to the moment specified in playback and see your note.
If you want to share a link with someone outside of your FullStory account, you first have to enable Guest roles. Guest users will only be able to view sessions via a share link.
Note: The linked session will be available for as long as your session retention period.
Share Notes with Integrations
These integrations can be configured to send the note automatically or you can choose to selectively send. Once configured, you will be able to share notes directly to these collaboration tools by clicking on the ⋮ icon within your note in the event stream:

Shared notes will automatically be shared with all users in your account in the Notes view. Find Notes at the bottom of your left-hand sidebar.
You'll see all of your (and your team's) notes featured in chronological order, with a button to watch the session instantly.
Some of my notes seem to have disappeared without explanation. What happened?
Every note you create is related to a session. A note will disappear when the session it's attached to falls outside your account's session retention window. It's possible that this is the reason for your notes disappearing.
To discuss adjustments to your contractual session limit, such as adding more sessions or switching to an annual session usage cycle, navigate to Settings > Account Management > Subscription and click Adjust plan.
Note: FullStory Advanced and Enterprise customers can generate share links for Conversions opportunities from a Conversion analyses to share with guest users.
