Usage Analytics shows how your team uses Fullstory, including feature adoption and account-level user activity, from a page in Settings. Use these reports to monitor utilization, focus enablement, and report usage to leadership.

Get started
In Fullstory, go to Settings > Admin Reports > Usage Analytics. Use the Features and Users tabs to switch between feature adoption and account-level user activity.
Features
The Features tab shows adoption of major Fullstory features.
The table at the top lists usage of each major feature across three columns: Total views, Unique users created, and Unique users viewed. Use the dropdown in the top right of the table to break these numbers down by persona, such as Engineering or Customer Experience.
Below the table, a chart plots all features together. Use the dropdown in the top right of the chart to isolate a single feature, and use the dropdown at the top of the page to change the time window, which defaults to the past year.
Users
The Users tab reports account-level teammate activity, not a per-user leaderboard. Four summary cards at the top of the tab each report a metric over a default time window:
- Total Logins: logins over the past 90 days.
- Provisioned users: users assigned a seat in your organization as of the current date.
- Weekly active users: users active in the past 7 days.
- Monthly active users: users active in the past 30 days.
Below the cards, Active User Trends charts active users over time. Use the time-range dropdown at the top right of the card to change the window, which defaults to the past year, and use the export control on the card to download the data. Info icons on Provisioned users and Active User Trends open tooltips that explain how those metrics are calculated.
Two cards at the bottom of the tab break down total sessions and unique users by persona type, where more sessions generally indicates more frequent use of Fullstory. To see when an individual teammate last logged in, use the Last Active column in User Management, described in How do I understand when my team members last logged into Fullstory?.
Viewing usage across umbrella organizations
For organizations with Umbrella Management, teammates with the Umbrella Manager role see a dropdown in the top right of Usage Analytics. Use it to switch between organizations, or select All Orgs to view a rollup of usage across organizations.
Export usage analytics data
Each table and graph in Usage Analytics includes an export control that downloads the data currently visible in that table or graph as a CSV file.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who can view Usage Analytics?
Admin, Architect, and Standard users can view Usage Analytics. Guest and Explorer users cannot.
Does Usage Analytics show individual teammate names?
No. Usage Analytics does not list individual teammate names. To see when a teammate last logged in, open User Management and use the Last Active column. See How do I understand when my team members last logged into Fullstory?.
Can I choose a custom date range?
No. Time ranges are limited to the preset options in the dropdowns. Custom date ranges are not available.
Can I export Usage Analytics data or pull it via API?
You can export the visible data from each table or graph as a CSV file. Usage Analytics does not have a public API.
